Naphthalene formaldehyde sulphonate water reducing agent is a synthetic powder based on
beta-sulphonate formaldehyde ondensate and reactive polymer.
Naphthalene Sulfonate Formaldehyde (SNF/NSF /PNS) complies with the requirements of the following standards: ASTM C 494, Type F; ASTM C 1017.
Other Name: Naphthalene Superplasticizer
Poly Naphthalene Sulfonate (PNS)
Chemical Name: sodium naphthalene sulfonate formaldehyde
(a high range water reducer, commonly referred to as a super plasticizer)
Application: Cement concrete water reducing admixture

To provide initial workability especially with low water cement ratio.
To significantly improve the initial workability of site mixed concrete without increasing water demand.
To provide improved durability by increasing ultimate strengths and reducing concrete permeability.
To have high slump retention with early setting time.
Typical Applications & Advantages
1. Powerful plasticizing action with improved initial workability.
2. Reduces water cement ratio to the maximum which allows production of high strength concrete while saving cement use.
3. Improved cohesion and particle dispersion minimizes segregation and bleeding and improves pumpability.
4. Long haul and hot weather concreting.
5. Gains early strength with very high slump retention

The optimum dosage of Naphthalene Sulfonate Formaldehyde (SNF/ NSF /PNS) to meet specific requirements should always be determined by trials using the materials and conditions that will be experienced in use.
Our suggestions as below:
A. Blending dosage at 0.5%-1.0%, 0.6% mixing dosage advised.
B. Prepare solutions as required.
C. Direct use of powder agent is allowed. Alternatively the addition of the agent is followed by water Moisturization (water-cement ratio:60%).
