1, Introduction:

Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer Powder is an environmentally friendly water-reducing agent, with uniform particles, low

water content, good solubility, high water reducer and slump retention. It can be directly dissolved with water to produce

liquid water-reducing agent, the various indicators can achieve the performance of liquid PCE, it becomes convenient in

process of using.It complies with ASTMC 491 Type F specifications.

Characteristics:

1. High water reduction: Excellent dispersion can provide a strong water reduction effect,the water reduction rate of concrete

is more than 40%, it provide a guarantee to improve the performance and strength of concrete, saving cement.
2. Easying to control production: Controling water reduction ratio, plasticity and air entraining by adjusting molecular weight

of main chain, length and density of side chain, type of side chain group.
3. High slump retention ability: Excellent slump retention ability, especially has good performance in the low slump maintain,

to ensure the performance of concrete, without affecting the normal condensation of concrete.
4. Good adhesion: Making concrete have excellent workability, Non-layer, without segregation and bleeding.
5. Ecellent workability: High fluidity, easily deposing and compacting, to make concrete reducing viscosity, without bleeding and

segregation, easily pumping.
6. High strength gained rate: Greatly increasing early and after strength, reducing energy loss. Reduction of cracking, shrinkage

and creep.
7. Wide adaptability: It is compatible with Portland cement, normal Portland cement, Portland slag cement, Flyash cement and

Portland pozzolanic cement etc. having excellent dispersibility and plasticity

4,Recommed Dosage:

The recommend dosage of superplasticizer for concrete: 0.1-0.25% base on cement quantity.

Solid contents of PCE powder is 98%. Normal dosage is 0.12%-0.3%. when dosage is 0.06%, it has 12% water reducing

rate and 23% strength growth, this beyond the performance of common pumping agent in market. when dosage is 0.1%,

performance beyond that of PNS and Melamine. But when dosage is below 0.14%, its good performance is not obvious.

When dosage is above 0.20%, it is excellent in concrete fluidity and pumping performance. Therefore, the best dosage is

recommended as 0.12-0.24%; when making concrete with high grade, big dosage of flyash or superfine slag powder or other

special requirements, dosage can be expanded to 0.3-0.5%. Test state that there is no cohesion and bleeding in concrete

even the dosage expand to 0.5%, and its water-reducing rate still increase . But air content increase, setting delay,

strength decrease.

5,Application: 

Polycarboxylate superplasticizer powder is widely used in dry-mortar and concrete systems, such as High performance

concrete, High flowability concrete, High durability concrete, Aluminate cement refractory concrete, Low cement refractory

castable concrete, Steam curing concrete, Self-leveling concrete, High strength mortar, Gypsum products, Self-leveling

floor, Joint filler, Grouts etc. Poly-Carboxylate is a superplasticizer for high performance concrete, high strength concrete,

high volume fly ash/slag concrete and grouting/self-leveling screed/mortar.

5.PCE Powder Use Method

(1)According to the design of concrete, adjust quantity the water or sand to make sure the slumps,strength, setting all to meet

with requirements base on the required dosage of admixture.

(2)It apply to concrete with high performance ,strength and fluidity. When make C50 concrete,it should choose the suitable

material according to relative technology rule and confirm the suitable mixing technology base on enough test data.

To make sure the fluidity of concrete can meet with the requirements of engineering, the strength of concrete should have surplus .

(3)This product can be added into concrete together with water which is used in mixing. but it will get better performance

if mix it with water firstly.

6,PCE Powder Safety and Attention:

(1)This product is alkalescence solid without toxic, corrosiveness and pollution. It is unedible.when it come to body and eye,

please wash it in clean water. When there is allergy for some body,please send the person to hospital rapidly for cure.

(2)This product is storaged in paper barrel with PE bag inner. Avoid rain and sundries to mix in.
