1, Description:


ELT-TWIST 54 Made of 100% virgin copolymer / polypropylene micro fibers, consist of twisted-bundles of monofilament fibers and used as

a primary structural concrete reinforcement.

ELT-TWIST 54 Macro synthetic fibers provide concrete with enhanced durability and toughness compared to traditional mesh.

ELT-TWIST 54 Its high performance structure yields maximum durability with no corrosion, magnetic and acid/alkali risk.

5, MIXing and Dosage


ELT-TWIST can be added directly to the concrete mixing system, during or after the batching of the ingredients and mixed at high

speed for four to five minutes. Additional mixing does not adversely affect the distribution or overall performance of ELT-TWIST54 macrofiber.

The addition of ELT-TWIST 54 Macro Fiber at the recommended dosage rates to a given mix will decrease the slump; however, additional water

should not be added. Only a water reducing admixture should be used to adjust concrete to the desired workability required for placement.


Doses of ELT-TWIST 54 synthetic macro fibers varies between 2,5 kg/m3 and 5 kg/m3 depending on engineering requirements of the projects.

Homogeneous mixture is obtained by adding the fibers to the aggregate band at the batching plant or mixing at the site to the truck.

It is recommended to to add fibers after plasticizer additives and mix for at least 4 to 5 min. at high speed.
